Serenity is running slow on my phone. What can I do to fix this?

If your app is running slow, try these steps:

  • Clear Cache:
    • On Mobile, tap the “more” at the bottom of the screen, then select “Clear Cache” (Don’t worry, it won’t erase anything in the app!)
    • On a Web browser, search for your web browser’s “how to clear cache.” Please note that we do not support Internet Explorer.
  • Make sure the device is connected to WiFi. Most apps (including ours) will run best when connected to a WiFi service versus a mobile network.
  • Ensure the app is running the most recent version.
  • You may need to go to your Apple App or Google Play store
  • Search for ‘Serenity Engage’
  • If there is an option to “update” to the latest version, select this and update the app.
  • Make sure your device is optimized. Sometimes mobile devices have limited memory and having excess numbers of photos or unused apps can consume too much of this memory, which will slow down apps you use regularly. 
  • If all else fails, try deleting the Serenity app and reinstall it. You won’t lose any data, but you will have to sign in again.
